Elena Mannwieler, Executive Director/Owner
Ms. Elena brings Storyland a background in business and marketing along with a BA of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a BA of Science in Biochemistry. Elena retired her career in business and marketing in order to spend more time with her two young children and to become a teacher. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends.
Jessica Torres, Director
Ms. Jessica is our Director. She first started at Storyland in 2009. Prior to management she was the head teacher in The Bay Room class. She is a fully qualified educator with over 18 years of experience working with children and a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Jessica enjoys attending sporting events, exercising and spending quality time with her 2 daughters.
Sammie Robles, Bay Room Teacher
& Assistant Director
Ms. Sammie began working at Storyland in 2008 as a Regional Occupation Program student and is now head teacher in the Sunshine classroom as well as our Assistant Director. Upon completion of her program Sammie was our on-call teacher's aid until recieving her teacher qualifications in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Sammie is married and has 3 young children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Leilani Iglehart, Sunshine Room and EPS Teacher
Ms. Leilani first came to Storyland as an ROP student in 2014. Leilani is currently attending Las Positas and working toward a nursing degree. Previously, she worked in the nursery at her church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Brittney Antonucci, Little Owls Teacher
Ms. Brittney began as an ROP student at Storyland and officially joined our team in 2018. She is currently attending Las Positas to continue her education in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time she enjoys drawing, going on adventures with her two dogs and spending time with friends and family.
Brooke Bowling, Little Owls Teacher
Ms. Brooke has her AA in Early Childhood Development and is currently attending Cal State East Bay to attain her BA in Human Development. She has 5 years of experience teaching in a preschool setting. Brooke comes from a family of 4 and spends most of her spare time with her little brother at the baseball field.
Marielena Torres, Little Monkeys Teacher
Ms. Mari has her BA from San Fransico State in Early Childhood Development with a minor in Special Education. She plans to go back to school to continue her education in early intervention for young children with special needs. Ms. Mari grew up playing softball for 18 years and played all 4 years at SF state.
